ABOUT THE POSITION
In this role, you will be a key player in optimizing our client's logistics and trade processes. You will be responsible for ensuring efficiency in transport flows and that all international transactions comply with applicable regulations. The role involves close collaboration with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to drive continuous improvements. RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties
You will be responsible for optimizing transport and logistics processes, monitoring performance, and solving operational issues. A significant part of the job involves ensuring compliance with export control and customs regulations, as well as managing relevant data and processes to drive awareness and improvements.
- Optimize Logistics: Support the selection and management of freight forwarders and customs brokers, ensuring efficient and documented loading/unloading processes.
- Monitor Performance: Verify billing accuracy, prepare transport performance reports, and track KPIs and costs.
- Solve Problems: Manage service quality issues, complaints, and operational challenges with freight forwarders, ensuring smooth import/export documentation.
- Ensure Compliance: Provide guidance on export control and customs regulations, maintain accurate records, and conduct audits.
- Manage Data and Processes: Support system improvements, maintain master data, and assist with import/export transactions.
- Drive Awareness: Implement communication platforms and share knowledge about laws, tariffs, customs, and licenses.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a good understanding of transport logistics and customs procedures.
- Has experience with trade compliance issues, including SAP GTS or similar systems.
- Is detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Is fluent in Swedish and English.
